Central Tickets is an all-in-one seat-filling agency for event organisers in the UK. Event organisers trust us to provide a discreet, reliable audience for their events and our appreciative members enjoy being offered a wide range of new opportunities on a regular basis. Founded in 2017, we are a small team, based in London.
When we began, we felt that there was an opportunity to improve upon traditional “papering” methods, by collecting detailed feedback and encouraging our members to purchase drinks and snacks, take part in promotional offers, and purchase discounted ticket offers (in addition to taking up seat-filling bookings). We felt that there was an opportunity to increase the value that a papered audience can deliver and contribute to the sector in a way that is more meaningful, knowing that our members would also benefit by being able to save money and connect with the arts more regularly.
Our lovely members genuinely appreciate the opportunities they have access to, and our clients consistently report great feedback. We know that our attendance rate is 95%+ and that our members spend well at the venues. In addition to seat-filling opportunities, our members also have access to discounted and full price ticket offers, fulfilled by Encore and Ingresso. In 2019, the number of bookings our members made represented 0.42% of all tickets sold in the West End and our members helped boost audience numbers for over 3000 different seat-filling events.
Event organiser list their events with us, because they know that we are well organised, because we hyper-target our marketing and because we deliver consistent results. We know that our members turn up, spend well and our team know how to connect your event with the members most likely to attend.
We are always developing the platform to make it better for our clients and members and have systems in place to consider every suggestion we receive. Every year, we run a NPS survey to see what we can improve. Our members are important to us and we want to make their experience of using our platform as easy as possible. We read every single comment and we are pleased to say that we have now actioned every single helpful suggestion that we received.
Giving back is a part of how we work and that begins with creating a great working space for the people who work with us and supporting them in their career development, by encouraging learning, making training courses available and supporting new initiatives that they suggest. Our team is inclusive and we’re proud to say that more than 50% of our team is LGBTQ and/or BAME. We regularly take part in Charity drives and we make a different contribution to a local charity every week – see our blog, where we try to raise awareness for the charities we work with by posting information about who they are and what they do. Last year, we helped get a young boy (Raghu) and his Mother (Suman Ben) off the streets into a new home. They’re now living as a family and Raghu is back at school and doing well.
We also try to be sustainable in how we work by offsetting the carbon emissions of our entire team in their working and personal lives, via Ecologi. It’s a really great programme that allows businesses like ours to invest in the Eden Reforestation Projects and CO2 reduction projects which are Gold Standard certified.
We have so many great projects in development and we’re excited to share those with you as and when the time comes.
